If you’ve been following our work this past year, you’d know that we have had the honor of working with the always amazing Jen from Ever After Bridal before and when she messaged us to ask if we wanted to be the photographers to bring her next styled shoot to life, we didn’t hesitate to jump at the opportunity! And boy, our new photoshoot was the complete opposite of the previous one! The last time we worked together, the Mayflower Grace contributed a soft, pure white background to the elegant and lovely nature of the wedding gowns. The photoshoot this past November at the famous Metropolitan Building in NYC, we were going for a staunch juxtaposition of grime and beauty which really made our lovely brides pop. The crudeness and mismatched nature of the 3rd floor provided the perfect location to show off the timeless elegance of these beautiful Veluz Reyes dresses!
This shoot was every photographer’s dream! We had a beautiful venue, a talented cake artist, an incredible florist and to top it all off, Jen invited the beautiful Kristen Taekman from the Real House Wives of New York City to model for us! She also wanted to use her past brides (including her new sister in law) as models for the shoot; it’s always nice to throw on your dress again and pose for some lovely pictures. With all the pieces in place, The Real House Wives of Ever After Bridal was born!
Thanks, Jen! You really know how to set up an amazing photoshoot!
