Melissa and Michael came down from Hamden yesterday for their “Getting to know you” session. I shoot quite a bit in the New Haven area and am always surprised to find how many good spots there are. I spotted the field with the Dandelions in it as we drove to the beach, the timing with the sunset worked perfect.
Luckily the weather held out for us on Kristianne & Matt’s engagement shoot …. for a little while. The last shot is in the great dinning hall at Yale. I recently learned that this is the hall that inspired Hogwarts and where a scene from the last Indiana Jones movie was filmed.
I had a great time with Michele and Scott in Fairfield. We started at their home and ended at the bar they met in. I enjoyed being around their fun loving positive energy and I look forward to their wedding. Cheers.
Hey Sue & Victor! Thank you so much for such and amazing day in the city and the ballgame! I had a lot of fun.. I hope that you enjoy the images as much as I do! You guys rocked the ice cream truck pictures!!
I was so excited when I got a phone call from Katie letting me know she was getting married. Last year I had the pleasure of photographing her sisters wedding. Anthony and Katie met at the business school in Quinnipiac University so that is where they wanted to start their Engagement shoot.
We started Irene and Matthews Engagement shoot at Lake Compounce. They chose the location because they are both big fans of amusement parks and roller coasters. We ended the day in New Haven. Thanks for a great day guys I cant wait for your wedding.
We started Melissa and Allen’s engagement shoot in the home that Allen’s great grandfather built. Old wallpaper, old carpets, old everything with little else. They are putting it on the market this week so it was mostly cleared out. I had a lot of fun shooting in the home and they appreciated having so many photos of the two of them in such a personally meaningful place.
