I had been looking forward to meeting Jeremiah for a while. When he initially called me he told me that he had had my card in his dresser drawer for three years. He had been at a wedding three years earlier where I had been the photographer and he had kept my card because he new after watching me work and seeing my photography that he wanted me to shoot his wedding. The thing that surprised me was that he said at the time he was single. As you can tell from the photos we had a very good day. We got started on Jeremiah’s family farm where he grew up.
Hello everyone, I have been so busy photographing all the wonderful couples I work with that I have put updating my blog on the back burner. I have been focusing on putting all my energy into my photography and editing and getting my couples their photography as fast as possible. So I apologize for not putting your engagement shoot up or posting the whole thing on my blog. That being said, here are a few highlights from recent engagement shoots.
These guys have great energy and as you can tell from the photos, like to have fun together. Just my kind of couple, we had a great day. We started at their house in the pool. I got the shots with Will jumping in the air with just my head and camera sticking out of the water. I used a serving plate from the kitchen to cover the camera as soon as Will hit the water so my gear wouldn’t get drenched. We then went to Chamard Vineyard and we took a few photographs in their wine cellar. Down town New Haven was next and after that we ended the day at Jones Family tree farm. 🙂
What a pleasure it was to spend the day in Boston with Claudia & Peter. We went to many meaningful locations to the two of them. The bench in some of these photos is the bench that Peter Proposed to Claudia on. I look forward to your Wedding.
Lindsey and Nick have great energy and above all else wanted to have fun on their shoot. If the wedding is half as much fun as their eng shoot it will be a good day. We covered a lot of ground, starting at Mystic Sea Port, then to Mystic Aquarium, then to Ocean Beach and finishing at Hamanasset. Nick is also in a band called “Swim the Mind” which is super good, if you have a chance check them out. They sound a bit like “Tool”
It was a real pleasure spending the day and getting to know the two of you. Thanks for the music (love it) and all the laughs. I look forward to spending more time with you guys and photographing your very special day 🙂
Sarah and John are volunteer EMT’s for their home town of Shelton, needles to say this was a wonderful activity for our shoot. We also ended up at Hammonasset Beach for the last shots of the day. Thanks for a great time guys.
