These guys have great energy and as you can tell from the photos, like to have fun together. Just my kind of couple, we had a great day. We started at their house in the pool. I got the shots with Will jumping in the air with just my head and camera sticking out of the water. I used a serving plate from the kitchen to cover the camera as soon as Will hit the water so my gear wouldn’t get drenched. We then went to Chamard Vineyard and we took a few photographs in their wine cellar. Down town New Haven was next and after that we ended the day at Jones Family tree farm. 🙂
Once again James and I had a wonderful experience doing what we do best. I know I am starting to sound like a broken record here but we really do work with the very best people ever. Claudia and Peter were absolutely wonderful to spend time with and photograph. I wish them all the best that life has to offer and more. Cheers to you and your family and friends.
I photographed this wedding with my good friend Steve Blazo from www.BlazoPhoto.com. The bride and groom’s family are personal friends with Steve so it was a nice relaxed day with lots of love, good food and merriment. We started at the Omni Hotel in New Haven, took a few shots around town and then went to Amarante’s Sea Cliff for ceremony and reception.
From the beginning Stephanie and Jonathan stressed they really wanted something different. There locations were West Haven beach and the Aqua Turf so to deliver something different I new I would need to find another location. I went hunting and found a industrial site near the West Haven Beach I thought would work. I went to their house the day before the wedding and showed Jonathan photos I had taken of the industrial location get his feed back and see if it would work for them. The verdict was yes so on the wedding day we took a little detour off the beaten path and gave it a shot. It worked out great and I love the photos. I look forward to their Trash the Dress shoot, we have some super duper ideas 🙂
This is the third wedding I have photographed for Katie’s family and extended family and I had a wonderful time. It was a real treat to see so many familiar faces. I tried a few concepts I have never seen before or tried. It makes me happy to always be pushing myself and coming up with new ideas and trying new things. I spent quite a bit of time scoping out Grassy Hill country club the previous week to find the best spots and it paid off. It was a pleasure to work there everyone on their staff was wonderful and the venue and the grounds photographed great.
Chelsie and Kevin were wonderful to work with on their life style shoot and their wedding. They told me they wanted to have fun with the photography on their wedding day they were down for anything. I spend the better part of a day before their wedding scoping out locations. I drove around the golf course in a golf cart and drove around the surrounding countryside looking for the perfect places to take photos for the two of them and their bridal party. After discussing the locations I found with Chelsie and Kevin they decided on the waterfall and farm. Fun was had by all and I loved every moment of it. Beth Angel and John from www.partyprodj.com kept the party going and the dance floor packed all night. Fun was had by all, I loved every moment of it.
Coleen and Brian had their first date on West Haven Beach five years ago and its also where they wanted to have their wedding. They wanted just the two of them on the beach at sunrise. You cant get much more private and romantic then that.
What a pleasure it was to spend the day in Boston with Claudia & Peter. We went to many meaningful locations to the two of them. The bench in some of these photos is the bench that Peter Proposed to Claudia on. I look forward to your Wedding.
