Lindsey and Nick have great energy and above all else wanted to have fun on their shoot. If the wedding is half as much fun as their eng shoot it will be a good day. We covered a lot of ground, starting at Mystic Sea Port, then to Mystic Aquarium, then to Ocean Beach and finishing at Hamanasset. Nick is also in a band called “Swim the Mind” which is super good, if you have a chance check them out. They sound a bit like “Tool”
It was a real pleasure spending the day and getting to know the two of you. Thanks for the music (love it) and all the laughs. I look forward to spending more time with you guys and photographing your very special day 🙂
Sarah and John are volunteer EMT’s for their home town of Shelton, needles to say this was a wonderful activity for our shoot. We also ended up at Hammonasset Beach for the last shots of the day. Thanks for a great time guys.
James and I had the pleasure of Photographing Jennifer and Max’s wedding over the weekend. It was a beautiful day and The Barns at Wesleyan Hills were glowing in their perfect spring splendor. Rock on Jenn and Max, Rock on.
Melissa and Michael came down from Hamden yesterday for their “Getting to know you” session. I shoot quite a bit in the New Haven area and am always surprised to find how many good spots there are. I spotted the field with the Dandelions in it as we drove to the beach, the timing with the sunset worked perfect.
I had a very fun and exciting day on Sat at Stafford Motor Speedway with all the members and family members of Davidson Team 64. David from Fairy Tale Studio ( http://www.fairytalestudio.com ) invited me to accompany him and it was great. It was fun as always to work together and so much fun to be in the middle of the action all day. I look forward to spending more time with the team and photographing them again. Thanks again to David and everyone on the team for the opportunity. The sun was out all day, some people got more than others 🙂
Luckily the weather held out for us on Kristianne & Matt’s engagement shoot …. for a little while. The last shot is in the great dinning hall at Yale. I recently learned that this is the hall that inspired Hogwarts and where a scene from the last Indiana Jones movie was filmed.
James and I were fortunate enough to be part of Michele and Scott’s special day. I had a wonderful time on their Eng/Lifestyle shoot last summer and their wedding was no different. Michele was fabulous and the weather was perfect. At the bottom of this post you will also see a short video of Michele and Scott filmed by David Ruzicka from Fairytale Studio. I love his work and highly recommend him to everyone. If you are looking for a film maker for your wedding look no further David is your man. www.fairytalestudio.com Thanks again to Michele and Scott for everything. Cheers,
I had a wonderful engagement shoot on the Cape with Jessica and David and now have spent a wonderful day with them at their wedding. The ceremony and reception was at The Cranwell in the Berkshires. Besides it being really really cold out everything went perfect. I give Jessica a lot of credit for stepping outside into the cold for a few shots and of course for looking fantastic. I trust the two of you are having a blast on your honeymoon. Thanks for everything and your photos will be ready and waiting for you when you return.
